To create a subdomain:
- Login your Cpanel
- Select the Subdomains icon in the Domain Names section.
You can then add your subdomain to the Subdomain field and select Create Subdomain. You can also change the Document Root to direct the subdomain to the folder of your choosing.
To create an Addon Domain:
- Login your Cpanel
- Select the Domains icon in the Domain Names section.
You can then add your Domain to the field and select “Add domain.”
You can also change the Document Root to direct the Domain to the folder of your choosing.
- The “Document root” is the folder that the directory will use. For example, you may have a directory within your web space (File Manager) located at “public_html.” Adding “public_html” in the “Document Root” field lets you point your domain/subdomain to this location.
- So, you must change the “Document Root” field. You can change the directory to match the domain name and create a folder with the same name in the file manager.
